How much is the registration for the tournament?
Registration is a flat-fee of $800 for football.
Other tournaments have a registration fee plus a per-athlete fee. Are there any additional registration fees not mentioned?
NO. CSYFCC has a flat-fee registration: Football-$800. Registatration fee includes insurance.
Are all-star teams allowed to participate?
YES. As long as your players meet the age cutoff requirement (7/31/11) they will be allowed to participate on your team.
When is the deadline for registration?
The registration for this tournament will close 2 weeks prior to the tournament. However, we will only allow a certain number of teams to enter, so please register your team as soon as possible.
Is this a Pop Warner, AYF, JAAF, or other youth organization sponsored event?
NO. This is an AAU sanctioned event (www.AAUFootball.org).
Will prizes be given to each state division champion?
YES. All participating teams will receive commemmorative trophies for their participation. Division "Best of West" Champions will receive state-of-the-art trophies.
Can out-of-state teams enter the tournament?
YES! This tournament is an AAU sanctioned event and is open to all AAU members. Pop Warner, AYF, JAAF, and independent members may also participate upon receipt of registration fees.
Can we reserve our spot in the tournament now?
YES. A $200 deposit (non-refundable, with balance due 2 weeks prior to the tournament Football-$600) will secure your spot in the AAU 2010 "Best of the West" CSYFCC Tournament.
How will ages be verified?
Each team will need to provide certified birth certificates and photo i.d (yearbook picture).
